Getting Started

Wild Sudoku puts a charming animal-themed twist on classic logic puzzles.

Your goal is to place animals on the puzzle board while following three simple rules:

  1. Each row must contain exactly one animal.

  2. Each column and colored territory must contain exactly one animal.

  3. Animals cannot touch one another, including diagonally.

As you complete puzzles, you'll earn stars, unlock new animal friends, discover habitats, and collect achievement badges.

New to the game? Visit How to Play from the main menu and choose Play with Tully to learn through an interactive tutorial.

How do I unlock new animals?

Complete puzzles in Classic Safari and Daily Safari to earn stars. As your star total increases, additional animals become available.

You can view your progress and upcoming unlocks in the Animal Collection.

What are the different habitats?

Wild Sudoku features four unique habitats:

  • Savanna: Available when you begin your adventure.

  • Forest: Unlocks after earning 30 total stars.

  • Ocean: Unlocks after earning 100 total stars.

  • Enchanted Sanctuary: Home to magical companions earned through special achievements.

What is Daily Safari?

Daily Safari offers a new puzzle challenge each day.

Complete daily puzzles to earn stars and build your collection of animal friends.

What is the Wildlife Passport?

Your Wildlife Passport tracks your achievements, habitat discoveries, and special milestones.

As you explore Wild Sudoku, you'll earn colorful badges and stamps celebrating your accomplishments.

How do I mark an empty square?

Select X Mark, then tap the squares you know cannot contain an animal.

You can switch back to Animal Mode whenever you're ready to place an animal.

What is Quick Mark?

Quick Mark helps you mark empty squares more efficiently.

After confirming a correctly placed animal, you can use Quick Mark to mark squares along a row or column.

Can I replay completed puzzles?

Yes! You can replay previously completed Classic Safari puzzles.

Your completion status remains saved, but replaying a puzzle doesn't award additional stars.

Does Wild Sudoku require an internet connection?

No. Core gameplay is designed to work offline.

You may need an internet connection to download the app, install updates, or access online support.

Does Wild Sudoku contain advertisements or subscriptions?

No!

Wild Sudoku is a one-time purchase with no advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Troubleshooting

The game isn't responding.

Try closing Wild Sudoku completely and reopening it.

If the issue continues, restart your iPhone or iPad and check whether an updated version of the game is available.

My game progress isn't showing.

Wild Sudoku saves progress locally on your device.

Make sure you're using the same device and installation. Deleting and reinstalling the app may result in lost progress.

I'm having trouble completing a puzzle.

Visit How to Play to review the rules or practice with Tully.

Remember that animals cannot touch, even diagonally!

You can also use the in-game Hint from Tully feature when available.

The game has no sound.

Check your device's volume and sound settings.

You can also visit Wild Sudoku's Settings menu to review the game's audio preferences.
